Windows Pivoting Window Specification (Details) PROFILE Extruded aluminium alloy to BS1474, and thermally broken with twin polyamide strips. All joints machined and mechanically jointed. FINISH Anodised in accordance with BS1615 to a depth of 25 microns or Polyester powder coated in accordance with BS6496 (Colour range availble on request). Note: Polyamide thermal break method offers facility of dual colour option. FITTINGS All pivoting ventilators are fitted with type 410 friction pivot, fully concealed mechanism as detailed. Horizontally pivoting ventilators are fitted with type 200 spring catch at head and optional cockspur handle at cill.

at jamb (outward opening side) with optional 230 storm catch on
opposing jamb. WEATHERING PERFORMANCE The window performs to BS4873 & BS6375 Pt1 severe weather test, and features a double silicone weatherstrip to the ventilator frame. GLAZING Dry glazed with suitable gasketry and snap-in beading, capable of accommodating glazing thicknesses from 4mm to 24mm. FIXING Direct to structure or by ancillary fixing lugs available as optional extra.Note: Fixing screws and bolts not supplied. Where application permits, friction hinges are available. Standard 500 range cockspur handles (locking facility available). Where required type 112 folding openers are available to top hung ventilators with square link tube attachment for vents over 900mm requiring double folding openers. Note: All fittings supplied standard in natural anodised finish.
