FormAL Windows Tempest Window Specification (Details) PROFILE Extruded aluminium alloy to BS1474. All joints, machined and mechanically jointed. FINISH Anodised in accordance with BS1615 to a depth of 25 microns or Polyester powder coated in accordance with BS6496 (Colour range available on request). FITTINGS Horizontally pivoting ventilators hung on surface mounted, extruded aluminium friction pivots. Windows fitted with cockspur casement handles or folding openers if requested. Note: All fittings supplied standard in natural anodised finish. WEATHERING PERFORMANCE The window performs to BS4873 & BS6375 Pt1 severe weather test and features a double E.P.D.M. weatherstrip to the frame. GLAZING Dry glazed with suitable gasketry and beading, capable of accommodating glazing thicknesses from 4mm to 32mm. FIXING Direct to structure or by ancillary fixing lugs available as optional extra. Note: Fixing screws and bolts not supplied. |
